I have received many compliments on my small face, some from strangers, one from a student’s mom, telling me my face was so small, she didn’t know how I fit my features on it. Very carefully. Small faces are big here and I feel it’s one of the reasons I get smiles from cranky Ajummas. They grab my hand, motion towards my face and giggle like little schoolgirls. In the states I never thought I had a small face… and I still don’t.
