I live in Seoul. My soul may or may not reside here.

Look, I am all about ending terrorism. But, the way people are celebrating the death of another person, makes us look like a bunch of arrogant jerks in the eyes of the world.

Let’s be happy Bin Laden is out of control… but let’s not make plans to stuff his body and hang him over the fireplace in the white house. Nobody likes an over-tooted horn.

That’s just my 2 cents.

a Korean ad for plastic surgery.
As an ad person, I’ve gotta say it’s well done. As a human, I am horrified/amused.

You gotta hand it to Korean advertising. They are despicable and horrid but so blatantly truthful it’s almost unnerving.

The ice sculptures, handcrafted by Brazilian artist Nele Azevedo, were set up in a public area by WWF Germany to show the direct effect of climate change in the Arctic on the whole planet and the future of humanity and nature.”

Today I got really excited when I say Chinese at the Berlin history museum. It wasnt even Korean. Sheesh. And I keep speaking Korean when people are asking me questions in German.

For the record,’neh’ means NO in German. Fail.

I always wanted to take pics of this. Now its gone. RIP indeed.

South Korean teens' social skills among worst in the world.

katrinasgotseoul:

Can’t say I’m shocked.

When you stick students into study rooms or classrooms 12-18 hours in a day, don’t be surprised when they lack the ability to socialize properly. I know this isn’t the only reason for this low rank, but it’s undoubtedly a big one.

As discussed with a friend last night, if I could change anything about Korea, I think I’d ban work or school after 5 or 6 pm.
